How Steve Jobs prepares for a keynote
With MacWorld looming next week, the Guardian has an excellent and insightful article about the preparation and attention to detail Steve Jobs does for a MacWorld keynote. One of the things that I think is particularly notable is Steve's continual willingness to cut content (including the author's, Mike Evangelist's) and boil the keynote down to a few beautifully presented and crafted ideas rather than a slew of half-baked thoughts. Having just come back on the red eye from Las Vegas where tyranny of too much presentations are a way of life (exemplified by Bill Gates keynote last night), I wish more executives would take Jobs' kind of time and care in presenting their messages.
