Amazing pricing disparities: Windows Vista price equals Mac mini in Europe

I hadn't noticed this pricing oddity, but someone in Europe notes that Vista Ultimate in Europe costs 600 euros, while a Mac mini including a copy of Mac OS X costs 619 euros. Hmmm. I understand that American companies often have higher prices in Europe to compensate for exchange rates and value added taxes, but the 600 euro Vista Ultimate price seems excessive, considering it is $399 in the US. My US-Euro converter says that that translates to 302 euros, not 600. This wouldn't have anything to do with Europe's fines to Microsoft for anti-competitive behavior, would it?
